I remember from a young age, I was always inquisitive about my Mum cooking and baking in the kitchen.

I would watch her cut, chop, stir and mix ingredients together and make these incredible dishes. A treat at the end of her baking would be that I would be allowed to clean out the mixing bowl of the cake or cookies she was making. Fast forward a few years, and I decided to turn that inquisitiveness into a career, and attended culinary school in England.

I have been extremely fortunate to be able to use the skills and knowledge I was taught at school to be able to travel all over the world, from England to Spain to Israel to USA (and many other countries in between). I have been involved in the food service industry for over 30 plus years.

While I have contributed to the success of managing and operating numerous businesses, it is finally the time for me to build and run my own.

As a local San Anselmo family man (husband and father to 2 teenage daughters), now is the time for me to serve my community. D.G. Café is a dream fulfilled. I hope you enjoy the food and vibe here as much as I do.
